Bobby Lashley says he can be patient while waiting for his chance with UFC or Strikeforce
Jun 30, 2009 - 01:39 PM |
Former WWE wrestler Bobby Lashley said he's being patient as he waits for an opportunity to fight in UFC or Strikeforce. "When I go over there I want to be a top, top level guy," Lashley told ProMMARadio. "I want talks of me fighting the champ when I get over there. I want them to say this guy's really good." Powell's POV: At age 32, Lashley still has some time to make a big name for himself on the smaller MMA stage. However, a loss to an opponent at this level could be a huge setback for him. I've heard from UFC sources that he didn't do himself any favors as far as UFC is concerned by working with TNA recently.
