UFC News: Chael Sonnen tells Jon Jones, "I don't need to beat you up, I just want to" Aug 22, 2012 - 03:43 PM
UFC Light Heavyweight Chael Sonnen appeared on UFC Tonight on Fuel TV to discuss the recent Twitter war with Light Heavyweight Champion Jon "Bones" Jones. After predicting a loss for Jones against Sonnen coach Dan Armstrong at UFC 151, Sonnen went on to dismiss Jones and say he would never fight Jones because Jones was scared. He closed his inteview by saying, I don't need to be you up Jon, I just want to." You can see the video at http://youtu.be/vfsS6AmQ6M0.
Shore's Slant: Wow. It would appear Sonnen has been taking tips from his good friend and excellent promo guy CM Punk. UFC is in need of their first big money feud, and this has all the booking possible with Jones fighting Sonnen's friend, and Sonnen fighting Light Heavyweight standout Forest Griffin. Keep your eye on this one.
