UFC News: Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva taking part in a live press conference on Tuesday for UFC 147, heavyweight fight official for UFC 146

-UFC has announced that Cain Velasquez will face Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva at UFC 146. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Stephen Minihane of Ireland]
-UFC also issued a press release on Monday to announce that the company website will air a live press conference from Brazil featuring Dana White, Anderson Silva, and Chael Sonnen. The press conference will air live on the UFC website at 9:00 a.m. CT on Tuesday.
Powell's POV: Velasquez was originally scheduled to face Frank Mir with the winner getting a shot at the UFC Hvt. Championship. However, Mir was given a shot against UFC Champion Junior dos Santos on this show due to the suspension of Alistair Overeem, who had been scheduled to face dos Santos. As for the press conference, Sonnen is one of the most entertaining talkers in any sport, and one can only assume he'll be heeling it up in Brazil.
