UFC News: Alistair Overeem officially pulled from UFC 146, replaced by Frank Mir Apr 21, 2012 - 10:52 AM
UFC President Dana White announced on Twitter late Friday night that Alistair Overeem, who recently failed a drug test, will not fight for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. He will be replaced by Frank Mir. Mir was scheduled to fight Cain Velaxquez in a number one contender's match on the same card. No replacement for Mir in that fight has been named.
