UFC News: Strikeforce fighter King Mo tests positive for steroid
Jan 17, 2012 - 01:38 PM |
Former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal tested positive for Drostanalone, according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission. For more on the story, visit MMAFighting.com.
Powell's POV: No punishment has been announced, though he is expected to be suspended for no less than six months and possibly a full year. Lawal defeated Lorenz Larkin on the January 7 Strikeforce event. However, the result of that fight will now be listed as a no contest as a result of the steroid test results.
