UFC News: "Big" John McCarthy returning to ref his first UFC bout since 2007

MMA referee "Big" John McCarthy is scheduled to return to the UFC octagon for the first time since he left the company back in 2007. McCarthy's wife Elaine told MMA Fighting that her husband has been assigned to the "UFC on Versus 2" show on Sunday. To read more on the story, visit MMAFighting.com.
Powell's POV: McCarthy and Dana White parted on bad terms when the most famous referee in UFC history left the company. He previously worked as a judge on the UFC-owned WEC 46 event. The story also notes that McCarthy is in the midst of writing an autobiography.
