UFC president Dana White responded to Quinton Jackson's announcement that he is retiring. "Rampage is a grown man," White told KHTK radio. "He's acting like a baby right now, but he's a grown man. If he wants to be in the movie business, Rampage, good luck to you, man. I hope he makes it big and I'm not being sarcastic.

"I hope the movie thing works out for him. If that's what he truly wants to do, and that's what he feels and that's what he thinks his career is, I wish him all the luck in the world... He's a grown man. He can do whatever he wants to do." You can read more on the story at MMA.Fanhouse.com.

Powell's POV: Dana brought some of this on himself by mocking Jackson for taking the "A-Team" movie role. At the same time, I'm happy to see that he's not kissing the guy's ass publicly in hopes of soothing things over. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out because Jackson has become a true star in UFC, and they are raising expectations for his fight with Rashad Evans with each episode of The Ultimate Fighter.
