UFC president Dana White told the Los Angeles Times that Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen have been named coaches for the third season of "The Ultimate Fighter" reality show that will lead up to a pay-per-view title match on April 27. The location of the fight has not been determined.

The reality show will begin filming on October 29 in Las Vegas, and will debut on FX in January. The finals will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Read more on the story at Touch.latimes.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-72912761/.

Powell's POV: White turned a big negative into a bigger positive. Jones was heavily criticized by White and many others in MMA for refusing to fight Sonnen on short notice when his original opponent had to bow out due to injury. Their fight will now mean more than it would have had they fought on short notice, and the appearance of two of UFC's most marketable stars could breathe some new life into the slumping reality show. Fortunately for WWE, the UFC pay-per-view will take place 20 days after the WrestleMania pay-per-view.
