The following are the results of the UFC 118 pay-per-view and Spike TV prelims, which took place on Saturday in Boston, Mass.

-Nik Lentz beat Andre Winner via unanimous decision.

-Joe Lauzon over Gabe Ruediger via first-round submission.

-Dan Miller beat John Slater via submission.

-Nate Diaz beat Marcus Davis via submission in round three.

-Gray Maynard beat Kenny Florian via unanimous decision.

-Demian Maia beat Mario Miranda via unamious decision.

-Randy Couture beat James Toney via first-round submission.

-Frankie Edgar beat B.J. Penn via unanimious decision to retain the UFC Lightweight Championship.

Powell's POV: Couture beating Toney shouldn't surprise anyone. Toney's only real chance to win was to land a knockout punch before Couture took him to the ground.
