Result of former WWE Champion Dave Bautista's MMA fight

Former WWE Champion Dave Bautista won his MMA debut by defeating Vince Lucero in the main event of the CES event on Saturday in Providence, R.I. Batista won the fight via ref stoppage at 4:05 of the first round.

Lucero came out throwing right hand punches and backed Bautista into the cage. Bautista took a few solid punches before eventually taking Lucero to the ground. Bautista caught Lucero with punches to the side of the head until the referee stepped in.

Powell's POV: Bautista noted that he wants to fight again. Lucero, who was a sloppy looking 300 lbs., complained that some of Bautista's punches landed on the back of his head. They jawed a bit afterward before they eventually hugged. Former WWE wrestler MVP was at the show.
