Bobby Lashley was asked by FightHype.com whether there are any pro wrestlers who could make the transition to MMA. "Right now, I think Shelton Benjamin," Lashley said. "He's an athlete who could learn the skill. For the lightweight division, I would love to see Jamie Noble.
Lashley was also asked whether he plans to work for TNA and continue to fight in MMA. "TNA really wants to work with me and they give me the opportunity to travel and train, so I may do TNA early in my career." To read the full interview, visit FightHype.com. Powell's POV: Shelton has the college wrestling background and has been described many times as the best pure athlete in WWE, so he is a solid choice. Noble is an interesting choice because he doesn't have the high profile amateur background. By the way, Lashley also answered the usual question about Kurt Angle and MMA during the interview.
