-Dragon Gate USA has announced that the company's first champion will be crowned on Nov. 28 at The Arena in Philadelphia, Pa. The event will feature a one night tournament to crown the new champ. The exact format of the tournament has not be decided.

-The next DGUSA show is scheduled for Sept. 6 in Chicago, Ill. and will feature a pre-show autograph session with WWE personalities Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. The show will also feature Naruki Doi vs. Bryan Danielson, and Davey Richards vs. Shingo.

Powell's POV: I love the tournament idea, and the company definitely has the talent to produce a strong tourney. For those who have asked, Ross and Lawler are allowed to take bookings outside WWE. Neither are expected to appear in front of the live crowd at the actual show in Chicago.
