MISC News Former XPW promoter and his wife sentenced to prison By Jason Powell Jul 1, 2009 - 02:08 PM Email This Article | Printer Friendly Page Send Us News & Results | Back to Main Listing Former XPW promoter Rob Black (a/k/a Robert Zicari) and his wife Janet Romano were sentenced to a year and a day in a Pennsylvania prison for conspiring to distribute pornographic videos depicting simulated rape and murder. The couple pleaded guilty on March to conspiracy to distribute obscene material and also received two years of supervised release at sentencing. The group is arguably best known for disrupting the ECW Heatwave 2000 pay-per-view. Black and his wife ran a pornography company, which is what led to the prison sentence listed above.
