Paul Heyman discusses the The (ECW) Arena, says there's obvious bad blood between Dragon Gate USA and Ring of Honor
Apr 15, 2009 - 10:45 AM

Paul Heyman posted his latest UK Sun blog and ran through the history of The Arena in Philadelphia, Pa. and his former assistant Gabe Sapolsky's new job with Dragon Gate USA. "Dragon Gate has an opportunity to bring to the United States a style that combines wild acrobatics like lucha libre, awesome submission wrestling, and great characters that appeal to a cool young audience," Heyman wrote. "While the names Shingo, and Naruki Doi, and Masato Yoshino may not be on the tips of the tongues of today's Philly crowd, these amazing performers are gearing up to stake a claim in the Cheese Steak Capital of the World.

"There's obviously bad blood between ROH and its former head writer, and Sapolsky threw himself right into the battle by booking Dragon Gate USA's debut show not in New York, not in Chicago, not in Miami, not in Los Angeles. Nope. Want to take a guess? BINGO! Sapolsky booked the first show, scheduled for July 25th, in Philadelphia." To read the full blog, visit the UK Sun.

Powell's POV: Heyman didn't mention the recent allegation made by Dragon Gate that ROH management still owe them money, which ROH officials have denied. By the way, Heyman also wrote about the passing of his mother Sulamita Heyman and why today, April 15, was more important to her than her own birthday.
