NWA Title vacated, new champion to be crowned

The NWA issued a press release on Sunday to announce that the NWA Title has been vacated. "The Board of Governors wish former champion Adam Pearce the best in his future endeavors," reads the statement. The new champion will be crowned on November 2 in Clayton, N.J.
Powell's POV: The press release did not include details on how the new champion will be determined, nor did it mention Colt Cabana, who joined Pearce in leaving the NWA Title in the ring following the seventh and final match of their series.
