"The Wrestler" on USA Today's watch list
Sep 3, 2008 - 11:57 AM

The Wrestler is listed as one of the Top 20 films to watch in an article regarding the Toronto Film Festival. "A retired wrestler with a stripper girlfriend and a heart condition is tempted into a rematch with his old foe," reads the article. "A Rocky for grapplers? Perhaps. More likely: a Mickey Rourke comeback courtesy of director Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain)." [Thanks to Dot Net correspondent Richard "Dick" Twilling]

Powell's POV: The film festival starts Thursday, so I'll be watching for reviews of Arnofsky's film.
