Brooke Hogan comments on whether reality television tore her family apart
Jul 11, 2008 - 11:30 AM |
Brooke Hogan is making the media rounds to promote the premier of the "Brooke Knows Best" show, which debuts Sunday night on VH1. She was asked in a Baltimore Sun interview whether reality television tore her family apart. "I don't think a camera and a cameraman can destroy a family," she said. I mean, they're not part of the family.
"But I think that it was the pressure of the cameras being there and the pressure of being on guard and not really being able to let your feelings fly, like if you are mad at somebody. Let's just say my parents were fighting; they couldn't just let it all out on national television. So I think it kind of suppressed it to the point where it almost let it explode, but I think that it would have come sooner or later." To read the full interview, visit BaltimoreSun.com.
Powell’s POV: The best part of the interview is that she responded to the previous question by stating that the cameramen are "like a built-in family." That being said, I think Brooke is the most likable member of the Hogan family these days. That probably isn't saying much given that her father lies constantly, her mother is making a fool out of herself by dating a 19 year-old, and her brother is behind bars for destroying the life of his best friend in a car crash. Stick with the cameramen, Brooke.
