Dot Net reader Richard attended the taping of Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling for TruTV at the Hard Rock in Orlando, Fla. on Tuesday and passed along the following report.

Pretty cheesy. Some director came out and tried to pump up the crowd and failed. They had us boo, chant MCW, chant midget violence clap clap clap, and stuff for the cameras. Then Jason Hervey took the microphone and talked about how passionate he, Eric Bischoff, and Hulk Hogan are for wrestling. He said he needs the passionate fans to come through on TV, so the fans at home can be excited about this show.  

Then they introduced everyone, ending with Hogan. Pat Tanaka was the referee, and Hogan and Brian Knobbs sat ringside commentating on the house microphones. One pimp guy came out and Hogan said he was the reason the first Mrs. Hogan left. Hogan even said that he hopes the midget gets what Linda has. Pretty funny!

One of the guys used a super kick, and Hogan took a job at HBK by saying, "Shawn Michaels has nothing on that Sweet Chin Music". They had "technical difficulties" so they brought the "divas" back out after their match just to reshoot the opening. Hogan even said they were just gonna reshoot the beginning and not the entire match.

After the championship match, everyone came out and posed in the ring. It sounded like Hogan said into the camera that they just announced that the Hard Rock here in Orlando is their new permeant home. Overall, it was okay. It's not something I would ever want to go to regularly.
