You can't blame the Hogans for contacting the police if they feel they were being threatened. Then again, it's been about 24 hours since they received any media attention, so perhaps they were just lonely and looking for some TMZ love.

Let this be a lesson to all you potential psychos out there. If you're going to threaten someone, don't do it via voicemail. Text messages aren't any better. I'm a big believer in the old school format of cutting individual letters out of magazines and then piecing them together to form words and sentences like, "I'm going to tie you to a chair, pin your eyes open, and force you to watch 'Brooke Knows Best' repeatedly." The show hasn't even debuted yet, but I guarantee that threat will still scare the hell out of anybody.
