Judge rules on Nick Hogan's request for house arrest, Nick sues the sherrif for releasing phone recordings
Jun 3, 2008 - 02:53 PM |
Nick Hogan won't be going home for a while. A judge denied his request to be moved from solitary confinement to house arrest on Tuesday. In related news, Nick's attorneys sued the Pinellas County sheriff for releasing recordings of his phone calls to the media. To read the full story, visit Yahoo.com.
Powell's POV: Good for the judge. Read a book and shut up, Nick. I'm not sure what to make of the lawsuit, but I don't think I'd piss off the jailers who are responsible for delivering my food and letting me use the telephone. That said, if the sheriff was wrong to release the tapes, then Nick has every right to sue. However, it sounds like it's common practice for the media to have access to jailhouse recordings.
