Paul Heyman online game details, pro wrestlers vs. MMA fighters vs. pro boxers

Jeff Katz of GeekWeek.com has posted a detailed report on the new online game involving Paul Heyman. "The premise is simple - Paul Heyman has teamed with GeekWeek to found a new online fighting league featuring a hybrid of pro wrestling, mixed martial arts and boxing," Katz writes.
"It's classic turn based online fighting, bringing combat sports into the era of community-driven games like Mafia Wars and Farmville. Players will be able to create their own custom fighters in any discipline, leading their character from the bottom of the rankings all the way to championship gold.
"With each victory comes further customization, moves, attributes and unlockable features. As an added bonus, users will also be able to play mixed matches, pitting wrestlers against MMA stars, MMA stars against boxers and so on. The thinking here is that one ring + three disciplines = endless dream matches." To read the full story, visit GeekWeek.com.
Powell's POV: The game is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter this year and will be free on the Geek Week website. Heyman is positioned as the "commissioner" of the online league, and the story notes that he's been "an active partner." We'll be sure to let you know when the game is up and running. I don't know if Brock Lesnar is an option, but if so, I think it would be a wise move to select him given that Heyman is involved.
