Hulk Hogan issued an apology to the Hell's Angels motorcycle club on Saturday following the threatening phone message he left on a sissy singer's voicemail. ""The idea that I some how was making any kind of threat against this individual is unfortunate," Hogan wrote in a statement posted on TMZ.com. "The voicemail was a practical joke made in a friendly situation and nothing more.

"I have respect for the Hells Angels and apologize for any undue publicity they have received as a result of [the boyfriend] seeking his 15 seconds of fame. I have also spoken to my friend and former Hells Angels member and co-star of HBO's hot series 'Oz' Chuck Zito, and explained to him that there was no malicious intent." Powell's POV: The mighty Hulkster apologizes to the bikers, but not over his recent claim that he roughed up some guy who looked like a member of the club during his Australian tour. Rather, he apologized for implying that he knew members of the club who could rough up the pansy singer of some horrible band that appeals to 12 year-old girls. After watching Sons of Anarchy on FX, I'd apologize too!
