-Gary Hart died peacefully on Sunday, a source close to the situation told Prowrestling.net this morning. Although the family is grieving, they are least taking comfort in that fact.

-WWE.com posted a story on Hart’s passing. The article concludes with the following statement: “Funeral plans have yet to be announced. WWE sends its condolences to Hart’s family and friends. Whether as a hated manager or as a creative genius, Gary Hart will live on in the hearts and minds of his friends, family and fans and colleagues.” To read the full story, visit WWE.com

-Slam Wrestling also posted a story on Hart’s passing that includes quotes from former World Class Championship announcer Bill Mercer. “I think he was the best of all the managers,” Mercer is quoted as saying. “With all respect to the others, God, he could slink around and look like he was always involved in doing something dirty behind the scenes—which he did." -WrestlingObserver.com posted a letter from one of the organizers of the convention that Hart appeared at over the weekend.

Powell’s POV: The Observer letter is a nice read and notes that Hart’s friend, Scandar Akbar, who was also at the convention, was shocked to learn the news because he didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary this weekend.
