Former TNA wrestler Alex Shelley shared good news regarding a medical prognosis. After running through a list of recent gruesome injuries that included severe sciatica suffering during a match in September, Shelley noted that he started thinking "maybe I need to get out."
However, Shelley received a positive update from his physician. "I am supposed to continue wrestling, I think," Shelley wrote. "Cleared to lift weights, burnout on cardio, and should make a full recovery." Follow him online at Twitter.com/fakekinkade
Powell's POV: Shelley has been working for the New Japan Pro Wrestling promotion and stated that he believes last year was the best of his career. Shelley declined to renew his contract with TNA in early 2012.
