The following first-round matches are set for the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla "Battle of Los Angeles" tournament that will take place August 30-31 in Reseda, California at American Legion Post 308.

-Michael Elgin vs. Rich Swann

-Kevin Steen vs. Chuck Taylor

-Johnny Gargano vs. Willie Mack

-Kyle O'Reilly vs. Trent? (a/k/a Trent Barreta)

-Joey Ryan vs. Drake Younger

-ACH vs. Anthony Nese

-Brian Cage vs. Tommaso Ciampa

-A.R. Fox vs. Roderick Strong

Powell's POV: It's an impressive 16-man tournament with the current DGUSA, EVOLVE, and FIP Champions, potentially the future ROH Champion, and two former ROH Champions involved. Tonight's event will also feature a six-man tag match with Adam Cole and The Young Bucks vs. T.J. Perkins, Rocky Romero, and Alex Koslov.
