NWA Title change in Japan, WWE Hall of Famer presents the new champ with the belt

The NWA announced that Satoshi Kojima defeated Rob Conway to win the NWA Heavyweight Championship in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday at the New Japan Pro Wrestling "Wrestle Kingdom 8" event.

Powell's POV: The press release notes that this is the first time the NWA Title has changed hands in Japan since Dan Severn defeated Shinya Hashimoto on March 9, 2002. In a cool touch, former NWA Champion Harley Race was in attendance to present the title to Kojima.
