Former WWE creative team member's indy promotion on hiatus

Former WWE creative team member Chris Gough announced that his Metro Pro Wrestling promotion is on an indefinite hiatus. He told the fans who attended Saturday's show that programming changes at Kansas City's Time Warner Cable's Metro Sports caused the hiatus. "I'm definitely not done or anything," Gough told Pitch.com. "I'm pretty sure i'll do a show again. I'm just not sure when or where."

Powell's POV: Metro Pro held its first taping on June 5, 2010 and ran in the Kansas City, Kansas area. Gough is employed as a sports anchor by the same station that airs Metro Pro Wrestling. Here's hoping everything gets resolved and they are able to bring the promotion back.
