Extreme Rising cancels WrestleMania weekend shows

Extreme Rising has canceled their three WrestleMania weekend shows in Philadelphia and Staten Island. No reason was given for the cancellations.

Shore's Slant: Wrestling Observer is reporting that slow ticket sales are to blame for the cancellation. Seems hard to believe at first blush because of all the heightened interest in wrestling in and around the WrestleMania host city, but I also didn't realize these guys were having a show, so it wasn't exactly well promoted either. Tough break for a promotion still trying to find a TV deal.
