Brock Lesnar could be part of the biggest MMA fight of the year if UFC is able to finalize negotiations with Randy Courture, who left the company nine months ago in a contract dispute. The Wrestling Observer website reports that Couture is negotiating a three-fight deal with UFC, and there are discussions regarding a Lesnar vs. Courture fight for November.
Powell's POV: Lesnar vs. Courture would be one of the biggest fights in UFC history. It seems like it's early in Brock's MMA career for him to face someone as skilled as Couture, but I assume Dana White doesn't want one of them losing to another opponent before they meet for the first time. Although Courture is a legend, he hasn't fought in nearly a year due to the contract dispute and he turned 45 a couple months back.
