6/19 F1rst Wrestling: Sean "X-Pac" Waltman vs. Jerry Lynn, TNA's Daffney vs. Ann Brookstone, Horace the Psychopath vs. Arya Daivari, Pete Huge and Allison Wonderland vs. Yellow Dog and Shark Girl, Cody O'Neill's final match

F1rst Wrestling
Minneapolis, Minn. at First Avenue nightclub
By Dot Net reader Jason Biagi
Cody O'Neill came out for an interview and wanted his retirement match against Arik Cannon started right away. When Cannon came out to respond,he was attacked by Aaron Corbin and...CODY O'NEILL???!!!
The other man turned out to be Cody's twin brother, Cory. The North Star Express (Ryan Cruz and Darin Corbin) ran off the trio. Cannon said that he would team with The NSE against The O'Neills and Corbin later in the night.
1. Horace The Psychopath beat a returning Arya Daivari. The finish came when Horace rolled up Daivari after a lazy pin attempt by Arya.
2. Pete Huge and Allison Wonderland beat Yellow Dog and Shark Girl. Good comedy from these four. Shark Girl was very popular with the crowd. Yellow Dog not so much.
3. "The Anarchist" Arik Cannon and The North Star Express beat Cody O'Neill,Cory O'Neill & Aaron Corbin. Very good six-man tag that had many dives and near falls. Highlight was Cruz superplexing Cory onto the other four men on the floor. The match came down to Cannon and Cody O'Neill and after several close falls,Cannon hit a brainbuster and the Glimmering Warlock to pin Cody. Afterwards, Cannon applauded Cody and hugged him. Cody thanked the fans, his brother, his wife, and his son in a touching moment.
4. "Six Percent Body Fat" Rob James pinned Danny Havoc in a Minneapolis Death Match. A pole was brought out and a bag containing 10,000 thumbtacks was put on it for either man to use. James smashed a beer bottle against the ringpost and gouged Havoc in the face with it, ripping Havoc open.
James also used a staple gun to staple a dollar bill to Havoc's tongue!!! Havoc used a barbed-wire bat to open up James as well. Havoc was bleeding very badly, leaving puddles in the ring. Havoc managed to open up the bag of tacks but James sunset-bombed Havoc onto them. James then hit a cradle Michinoku Driver to Havoc on the tacks for the win.
Intermission followed to clean up the ring.
5. Midwest Ground and Air (Nate Bash and Benjamin Sailer) beat UDO and Venom. Good tag match as Bash and Sailer usually leave the crowd satisfied.Bash hit a missle dropkick on UDO as Sailer hit UDO with a cross-arm German suplex for the win.
6. Ann Brookstone pinned Daffney in a Falls Count Anywhere match. These two went into the crowd right away and eventually ended up in the men's bathroom (that's a switch). Daffney shoved Ann's head into a trough (ugh). They battled down the stairs where Ann was busted open. The fight went into the ring where Ann rolled up Daffney for the win. Fine for what I could see (which wasn't much).
7. Sean "X-Pac" Waltman pinned Jerry Lynn. The crowd simply lost it for both these men. Split almost right down the middle in support. Regretfully, this is the first time I've seen these two lock up in person. I first saw them on TV around 1990 in the old GWF in Texas. X-Pac hit the Broncobuster on Lynn in the corner but later Lynn hit an elbowsmash to Pac on a table that saw the crown come unglued.
Lynn nailed the Cradle Piledriver but Pac got his leg on the bottom rope at the last second. Pac hit the X-Factor but Lynn kicked out.Lynn hit a top rope huracanrana but Pac rolled through and pinned Lynn with a jackknife cradle. The locker room emptied to give both a lengthy ovation as Waltman talked of coming home and of his 17-year old son's birthday. Lynn talked of how he and Waltman beat each other up for over years on the Minnesota circuit, trying to get noticed. Waltman got visibly teary-eyed as he and Lynn hugged to send the rabid crowd home happy.
Notes: I got Jerry Lynn to autograph my copy of ROH's Supercard Of Honor 4 (where he won the ROH World Title). Jerry has always been and continues to be a first class guy which anybody can talk down home to. He also took a liking to my Zombie shirt being an avid horror film fan. All in all, the best F1rst Wrestling card I've seen since seeing the product in May 2007.
