Steel Domain Wrestling
West St. Paul, Minnesota at The Armory

1. Craven Knight pinned Rob James.

2. Sammy "The Bulldog" Savard pinned Red Lightning.

3. Miss Natural pinned Heather Hallberg.

4. Renny D beat Robbie Thunder.

5. Arya Daivari pinned Ryan Cruz.

6. Benjamin Sailer pinned Adam Pearce to retain the Heavy on Wrestling Title.

Powell's POV: This is the first time SDW has run in West St. Paul in eight years. TNA's Christy Hemme was the ring announcer. She was energetic and did a really nice job. Greg Gagne and Jim Brunzell were interviewed by Mick Karch at ringside. They were interrupted by Larry Zbyzsko in a fun flashback moment.

Gagne got involved in the main event and threw his trademark dropkick on Pearce, which led to Sailer getting the win. The main event was strong, and the semi-main event was also very good. Arya, who is the younger brother of Shawn Daivari, has improved a lot over the years. Although it wasn't mentioned, Heather Hallberg is the daughter of former AWA wrestler Buck Zumhofe. She had a fun heel gimmick. She worked the crowd well and bossed around her manager/husband.

The rumored attendance was roughly 350. Promoter Ed Hellier was pleased with the turnout. It was in the ballpark if not better than the promotion drew for some shows during its peak when Pearce, C.M. Punk, Ken Anderson, Shawn Daivari, Austin Aries, Ace Steel, Colt Cabana, Lacey, Rain (a/k/a Peyton Banks), and others worked for the promotion before they became national stars. It was an enjoyable three-hour show and it was fun to watch a wrestling show at the West St. Paul Armory after all these years.
