The following matches were all first-round tournament matches. The second night of the tournament takes place tonight in the same venue.

1. T.J. Perkins beat Joey Ryan. Perkins won with a version of GTS but with a kick to the face instead of a knee.

2. Roderick Strong beat Drake Younger. Roddy won with a gordbuster into tiger driver pinning combo.

3. Eddie Edwards beat Kyle O'Reilly. Edwards wins holding a single crab while stomping on his head.

4. Brian Cage beat B-Boy. Cage won with Weapon X (gory special into flatliner).

Intermission

5. Ricochet beat Kevin Steen. Ricochet won with a phoenix 630. Brian Cage interfered but got a Package Piledriver as a distraction to set up Ricochet for the fall.

6. Sami Callahan over Willie Mack. Sami won after multiple lariats.

7. Adam Cole beat El Generico. Adam Cole played up his Panama City Playa persona. Cole won with a roll up after Generico attempted a brainbuster.

8. Michael Elgin defeated Davey Richards. Highlight moves of the night: Elgin held Davey for 60 seconds in a vertical suplex and put him down with authority, alternating kicks (Davey) and lariats (Elgin). Elgin won with a power turnbuckle powerbomb into a spiral bomb.

Notes: A great night of wrestling. Not one match was a letdown. Adam Cole and Sami Callahan had the upsets of the night. Night Two will be great with the duration of the tournament, possible tag matches, and hopefully, the losers eight-man tag as tradition of BOLA. The show wasn't as packed as the anniversary show but still at capacity.
