Kester's TNA Impact Wrestling Rundown: A disappointing show that featured Aces and Eights acting like every other faction in TNA history and James Storm squandering his number one contendership

Aces and Eights

This group feels like just another standard TNA faction at this point. They lose most of their matches, and in those matches their members don't look like a threat. The only thing they have going for them is numbers.

That being said, DOC does look threatening and he comes off brutal in his hammer assaults. It's too bad he's saddled with such a cartoonish name.

James Storm vs. Bobby Roode

TNA made Storm look like a moron for falling for falling for putting his number one contendership o the line, and an even bigger idiot for actually losing that match. Storm would have been a hundred times better off just being the third man out on the triple threat match at Turning Point.

I am happy that we're not going to another babyface vs. babyface rivalry so soon after the one that caused Aries' heel turn, but the way we got here just lacked any sense whatsoever.

Overall Show

Last night's show wasn't much to write home about. TNA felt like they took a creative vacation and the show we were presented with was rather uninspired.
