The following predictions are made with no inside knowledge or clairvoyance as to what the finishes will be. They are predictions made based on what WWE has done and what I think they will do.

30-Man Royal Rumble match: I wrote a blog earlier today about all of the participants to keep your eyes on in the Royal Rumble match. Among those I listed, I believe Chris Jericho is the most logical choice to win the Royal Rumble. A feud between Jericho and CM Punk pretty much writes itself, and WWE has shown breadcrumbs for that feud already. With all of CM Punk's talk about how he is the "Best in the World" and Chris Jericho promising to end the world as we know it, Jericho is the obvious choice.

Prediction: Chris Jericho wins the Royal Rumble.

CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler (Special Guest Referee John Laurinaitis) for the WWE Championship: Dolph Ziggler is not ready to wear the WWE Championship, especially not this close to WrestleMania. Because I already see Jericho winning the Rumble, Punk has to retain the title here. With Laurinaitis' hyped performance evaluation, I can easily see him reluctantly counting a fall he would have otherwise ignored.

Prediction: CM Punk pins Dolph Ziggler to retain the WWE Championship

Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry in a Triple-Threat Steel Cage match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Daniel Bryan has proven to be a rare tactical heel in WWE. Rather than being a traditional chickenshit heel, he's being treated as a thinking man's wrestler who is always plotting about the next way to escape with his title in his grasp. I don't expect that to end tomorrow, and I can easily see him slithering out of the cage while one of the big men are trying to cover the other. Bottom-line, I don't see Daniel Bryan dropping the belt at this point in his reign.

Prediction: Daniel Bryan retains the World Heavyweight Championship

John Cena vs. Kane: While the build for this match hasn't been my cup of tea, I am looking forward to the payoff. Kane is known for doing good business, and I expect we'll see a very dominant performance from Cena to build him up heading into his feud with The Rock. I also expect to see Cena "snap" after being unable to put Kane away, and we'll get an extended version of Cena's recent beatdown of Jack Swagger.

Prediction: Kane wins via DQ
