CM Punk and John Cena

CM Punk had a good night. He was really relied upon to carry the show and he delivered some of the best mic work he's done in weeks. Punk's interaction with Foley was particularly strong. Cena's delivery left a lot to be desired and I wish WWE would have just let him rest rather than having him deliver an uninspired promo.

I do not like the idea of Ryback being substituted in for Cena; if that's where WWE is headed. I'm all for Ryback getting an actual feud, but he needs a lot more buildup before he suffers his first lost and I don't trust him yet to be able to carry a main event angle.

Daniel Bryan and Kane

Daniel Bryan and Kane have been the highlight of several shows for me, but last night's diner escapades were too much. It veered away from the dry humor, that's worked so well thus far, into skits and camp comedy, and it turned what could have been another round of fun into overproduced and, at points, painful television.

Also, WWE, please stop allowing fans to name things. The fans have proven that they suck. Team friendship was amazing and instead we've got Team Hell No, which reminds me all too much of the Twitter-made Air Boom nonsense.

Jerry Lawler

While I am happy to hear from Lawler and see that he's doing better, I found it disgusting that WWE would air photos of him receiving CPR. There are some moments of a person's life that should never be television fodder, and suffering a heart attack is one of them. It felt exploitative and made me uncomfortable to watch the programming.

Overall Show

Last night's show was solid for the most part. WWE did a decent job of progressing the top stories and delivering some fun wrestling matches.
