Jeff Hardy and Christopher Daniels

I enjoyed the main event these two had. They worked a great pace and the near falls down the stretch were well done. Daniels and Hardy have a certain chemistry together in the ring what makes for an exciting match.

I hope that TNA continues this feud going forward. Daniels deserves to be in the main event with the quality heel work he's done during this run, and I think he has the promo chops to make a longer feud work.

Aces and Eights

The follow up to last week's great attack was lackluster. Yes, Taz is a good talker, but he's coming off as more as a pissy old wrestler than he does as a credible threat to anyone in TNA. There is some value in Taz to be sure, but I can't help but feel like having him on commentary defeats the purpose of making him a promo guy for Aces and Eights. When he's talking all evening as it is, his promos for the group don't come off as particularly special.

The talk of a "higher power" from Taz feels like it's been pulled out of someone's backside. Aces and Eights does not come off as a group of zealots or even like they've been attacking TNA guys at the behest of anyone. I like the idea of raising the stakes and leading up to a big reveal for TNA's leader, but if this is a vehicle for Eric Bischoff to return to TNA television, then they're better off not even bothering.

Bully Ray

Bully Ray continues to do well in whatever role he's given. I may not be high on the story he is involved in, but I have enjoyed his work.

I still hold out hope that Ray will turn heel again down the line. He's good as a face, but TNA is hurting for guys that can really get under a crowd's skin, and Ray is spectacular as a heel.

Overall Show

Last night's show was decent to solid for me. I found the show to be enjoyable. I went in expecting a bit of a bye week that focused more on hyping the big show next week then it did on progressing things this week, and that's exactly what we got.
