Jeff Hardy, Bobby Roode, and Austin Aries

This feud has been well built thus far. I am glad that they finally announced the triple threat match, but it was done with so little fanfare it felt like they were talking about any other match.

Despite the lack of proper focus, I am looking forward to seeing what we will get at Genesis. These three men work well together and should produce a memorable match.

Hulk Hogan, Bully Ray, and Brooke Hogan

Why is Bully Ray playing the babyface in this? Hogan has been coming off as an ass for weeks, and last night was no different. TNA went for the least interesting route possible with this story and it's resulted in a story that I have to force myself to take seriously rather than one that just draws me in.

I'm not sure where they are expecting to go with this story. If it swerves s into Bully Ray being a heel again, I can take it. I wouldn't enjoy the road to get there, but I would be happy to see Ray be a heel again. If they keep going like this, however, then I am at a loss for why this story is being done at all.

Aces and Eights

I'm done with this group. It seems like the big reveals for the group will be stretched out over the course of the year, but it's hard to look forward to the reveal of a group that is presented as a bunch of scrubs. Aces and Eights suffered yet another loss, got single-handedly taken out by sting, and had another man unmasked all on the same evening.

TNA either needs to present this group as a threat or move on. A weak heel faction does them no favors.

Overall Show

Last night's show was ok. There was some solid wrestling involved, but TNA's old issue with their frantic pace really undercut the impact of the night's bigger moments. This is by no means a new issue with TNA, but it is something that hurts their product.
