WWE Raw Blog: "This Raw ends like so many others did before with Triple H standing tall in the ring"

-The Miz and John Morrison always crack me up and they definitely deserve the Tag Team of the Year Award. I just wish that award meant more to WWE.
- If they give C.M. Punk and Morrison time this could be a really good match. Morrison has come a long way since their ECW title feud.
- Good cover up by Morrison when Punk didn’t make it through the ropes on that drop kick. I really think these guys could be the next big thing if they ever give them a chance.
- What a top rope huracanrana! Let these people wrestle! YES! I love seeing guys pull out moves that aren’t part of their pre-approved WWE arsenal.
- What a counter of the GTS (great name, by the way) and a great false ending. That’s the most I’ve cared about a non-main event Raw match in a long time. Great facial expression by Punk when he thought he’d gotten pinned.
- This could be an interesting Kofi vs. Punk match if they go that way. I know it is early to tease dissension, but they have to do something to make me care about the Tag Team Champs.
- This is my first time in a while to watch Raw live, and I can’t say I care much about watching a recap of something I saw last week. I usually just skip through them.
- John Cena was actually pretty funny mocking Jericho’s promo from last week. It was kid friendly but still clever and funny. A (surprising) hit from a backstage promo.
- Who is Cena putting in the STFU on his new t-shirt?
- The Slammy trophy sure doesn’t look very intimidating. It looks more like two people dancing than a pro wrestling award.
- Good choice with Evan Bourne. That move is freaking incredible. At least I have agreed with both the choices so far. I also like Mike Knox "accepting" for Bourne. I see a lot of potential in crazy-ass Knox.
- The Legacy. I like it a lot. I have been waiting for this faction to form for a long time. Randy Orton has been at the top of his game and I hope he can elevate Cody Rhodes and Manu. This name blows the "TNA Frontline" out of the water.
- If ECW is the "most watched show" on SciFi for 10 weeks in a row, what did it lose to 11 weeks ago?
- MVC. I love it. The Charlie Hass thing still hasn’t gotten old for me. He is definitely less "street" than the real MVP, though.
- And the MVP losing streak continues. I’m bored with this. Start pushing the guy already; he could be money in the main event very soon.
- Matt Hardy looks like a kid wearing his dad’s suit. The thing is way too big through the shoulders for him. Man, I forgot how over Jeff Hardy was going into that title match with Randy Orton.
- I’m cooking dinner during the Hardy-Jericho match, so I haven’t been able to watch closely, but I’m not that into the match. Hardy seems so normal here, I miss the psycho Hardy. I’m surprised Jericho got the clean pin there. I guess they figure Hardy is Teflon.
- I don't know who should win couple of the year, Glammerella or Edge & Vickie. They have both been great this year, albeit in very different ways. Wow, what heat for Vickie and the "Excuse Me" line.
- Santino is totally the bitch of Glammerella. And apparently Hornswaggle's bitch too.
- If anybody other than Beth or Mickie wins Diva of the Year, this is a joke. More than they already are. Ok, good. Glad to see the Glamazon getting her due. Santino getting hit in the nuts equals comedy gold!
- Why do they insist on showing Triple H in that ludicrous Conan the Barbarian outfit over and over again?
- Good to see Joey Styles back on WWE TV. Anybody else want to see Vickie come out and confront Alicia Fox? No, just me? Ok.
- A Scotty Goldman shoutout from CM Punk. Gotta love that. I miss old Scotty on Smackdown.
- This should be a fun match. That cartwheel out of a huracanrana is something I’ve never seen before. I’m not surprised that Rey won, and either match would have been good.
- I have to admit I’m intrigued by this HBK-JBL storyline. I kind of like the beaten down HBK character, and I’m interested to see where this goes.
- I’m not all that upset about the bait and switch because I never expected a clean finish to the HHH-Batista match and because I’m intrigued about the Legacy.
- God, Triple H’s entrance just never ends. Another thing I usually fast forward through.
- Not a great start here for The Legacy. I’m glad they won, and they used the underhanded heel tactics brilliantly, but I still wish they had looked a little stronger. By the way, that name still kicks ass.
- I officially hate Great Khali forever because he got to make out with Mickie James. Mickie is by far the hottest Diva because she looks like an actual persona and not an anorexic. Of course, I will always miss psycho-lesbian Mickie.
- Anybody else think WWE totally dropped the ball with R-Truth by not letting him keep the edge he had in those introductory videos?
- Not the definitive victory he should have gotten, but a nice win for Dolph Ziggler.
- I missed Edge so much. I’m glad he is back, but now I miss his beard.
- Edge is the only man who has made me enjoy a Cena program. He is quite frankly the best in the business today. His facial expressions are flawless and his psycho character is so interesting. Compare his character to Cena and see who is more captivating.
- How did Cena see Jericho when Jericho entered from the ramp and Cena was looking at the announcers? He wasn’t even looking the right direction to use the Titan Tron.
- I don’t like them making Edge look weak like that, but at least the brawls to end the show pushed the PPV on Sunday. I’m glad they didn’t ignore it completely.
- Well, this Raw ends like so many others did before with Triple H standing tall in the ring. I thought we got rid of that with the draft. I hope this means he won't get to stand tall on Sunday, as Triple winning would be the single worst thing that can happen to Smackdown.
