Dot Net Audio Teaser: Free audio of Marty "Cham Pain" Garner on his recent phone altercation with a WWE VP, growing up with The Hardys, and working as a personal assistant for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in Hollywood
By Jason Powell Jul 28, 2008 - 06:26 PM

Marty Garner may not be a household name, but he doing whatever it takes to change that via his "Hire Cham Pain" campaign, which recently inspired an angry phone call from WWE senior vice president John Laurinaitis. Marty came up and is still good friends with Matt and Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore and Gregory Helms.

Marty discussed coming up with those and other famous wrestlers, as well as the time he spent working as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's personal assistant, and surprising reason he left that position.

He also reveals how much money he made for working against MVP on a WWE pay-per-view event compared to how much he gets paid for working WWE dark and squash matches, and much more during this 77-minute interview.

What did you think of WWE's Jeff Hardy "unconscious in a stairwell" storyline?
It was a brilliant final hook for the pay-per-view.
It was a turnoff, but it's par for the course with WWE.
It was one of the sleaziest stunts the company has ever done.
