What I liked

I think they did a real good job of introduction to each wrestler and the Tyler Black vs. Jimmy Jacobs fued. Giving summaries of their styles and finishers gave the viewer something to look for.

Their commentary crew is already better then TNA. Okay, it did not take much to do that but lets be honest Mike Tenay and Don West have sucked since the start. At least ROH got some confident people and hopefully with practice and experience they will get better.

Wrestling action. Who would have thought that a pro wrestling show would have wrestling on it? ROH delivered and for television with an hour show I think they did a great job. It was not the best matches they could have put together but a TV package.

Jerry Lynn in the opening match is something I think helped since he would have some of the most recognition of new fans to ROH. I thought that was a smart move.

What I did not like

No Nigel McGuinness! Seriously you do not have your Champion on the debut edition of your TV show? That was a giant failure. I would have had him in the opening studio segment with the announcers. He needed a short promo much like the commercials that were shown.

No tag team match! ROH has the opportunity to show they have great tag teams and only had singles matches.

Delirious doing your opening Smack Talk segment. It does not help to have the mumbler be your opening promo.

The crowd was not the frenzied ROH fans I have come to love and expect from the PPV.

Conclusion

I thought it was an okay show. I liked it over all. It is apparent that ROH is new to this. I am anticipating to see how ROH will integrate the TV show with the PPV and if it helps build that storylines for them.
