6/7 WWE in Fort Lauderdale results: Bray Wyatt vs. R-Truth, NXT spoiler, John Cena vs. Ryback for the WWE Championship. The Shield vs. Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, and The Miz, Ted DiBiase vs. Curt Hawkins

WWE Live Event
Fort Lauderdale, Florida (technically in Sunrise, Florida)
Report by Dot Net reader George Nebe

1. Tons of Funk beat Rhodes Scholars.

2. Bo Dallas defeated Leo Kruger to retain the NXT Championship. I was not expecting Kruger and I was going crazy as he is one of my faves on NXT. Bo Dallas won by pinfall after a second attempt at his finisher because he botched the first one.
Worst NXT champ ever. No spoiler alerts for those that didn't know he beat Big E.

3. Curt Hawkins fought Ted DiBiase to a no-contest when The Shield interfered. to be honest, I went to get a beer even though I like Hawkins. I came back and The Shield had cleared the ring. Dean Ambrose was cutting a promo so I ran to the guardrail and started cheering The Shield.

4. Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, and The Miz beat The Shield by DQ. Great match as always. Daniel Bryan is amazing. It was hard to not root for him even though I was for Shield. The faces won by DQ when Roman Reigns used a chair. Orton hit an RKO on Ambrose and The Shield cleared the ring.

5. Bray Wyatt beat R-Truth by pinfall. The Wyatt Family came out after intermission and I went nuts. Bray Wyatt cut a crazy promo and Erick Rowan was wearing the sheep mask. I was screaming at Luke Harper (a/k/a Brody Lee), but he ignored me. The eater of worlds got in his offense and squashed.

6. Zack Ryder beat Antonio Cesaro. Cesaro is one of my faves so again I was screaming bloody murder, which I think upset some kids by me. Cesaro totally dominated with his offense and also three sleeper holds, but Ryder, the jobber, actually won. I guess his push has begun.

7. Zack Ryder beat Brad Maddox. Brad Maddox came out after the previous match and Ryder beat him. Maybe now he can stop whining on Twitter.

8. John Cena beat Ryback tables match to retain the WWE Championship. Really good main event. I was rooting for Ryback. Cena put Ryback through the table and won of course.

All the faces got big pops because the crowd was mostly kids, but if I had to rank them...

1. John Cena
2. Randy Orton
3. Daniel Bryan
4. R-Truth
5. Tons of Funk
6. Zack Ryder
7. The Miz
8. Bo Dallas
9. Ted DiBiase
