WWE Raw live event
Birmingham, Ala. at the Birmingham Civic Center
Report by Dot Net reader Jason Smith

1. Brodus Clay beat Jack Swagger. A fun opening match. Brodus won with the big splash and then danced with kids.

2. Seth Rollins defeated Michael McGillicutty. A nice match. Creative needs to get these guys on TV.

3. Santino Marella defeated David Otunga to retain the U.S. Title. Otunga dominated Santino, who eventually got the win after doing his three moves and The Cobra. The kids loved it while many adults hit the bathrooms.

4. Layla defeated Natalya. The best Divas match I've seen in a while.

5. John Cena defeated Big Show and Tensai in a handicap match. Cena won a good match with the Attitude Adjustment.

Intermission

6. Dolph Ziggler (w/Mason Ryan) defeated Zack Ryder. Ryan played the bodyguard role and interfered to help Dolph get the win.

7. R-Truth and Kofi Kingston defeated Primo and Epico to retain the WWE Tag Titles. A nice high flying, high speed tag match.

8. C.M. Punk defeated Daniel Bryan to retain the WWE Championship. A great 25-minute match with both men utilizing chairs and kendo sticks. Punk hit the GTS for the win.

Notes: The bottom bowl of the building was 90 percent full. No one was in the upper deck. It was a great show and everyone went home happy.

Biggest Pops
1. John Cena (99.9 percent pro-Cena, adults included)
2. C.M. Punk
3. R-Truth
4. Zack Ryder

Most Heat
1. Big Show
2. David Otunga
3. Daniel Bryan

No Reaction
1. Tensai
