WWE SuperShow live event
New York, N.Y. at Madison Square Garden
Report by Dot Net reader Jonathan Crowe

This was my first live event and it was awesome! Madison Square Garden was sold out, as you would expect.

1. Zack Ryder defeated The Miz. A good back and forth match. Ryder hit the rough Ryder for the win. Ryder got a huge pop in his hometown!

2. Epico and Primo defeated Kofi Kingston and R-Truth to retain the WWE Tag Titles. The champs retained after John Laurinaitis restarted the match. Kofi hit Trouble in Paradise to win the first match, and then Primo hit the Backstabber for the win. Good back and forth by all men.

3. Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger (w/Vickie Guerrero) to retain the United States Championship. Vickie and Jack both got a lot of heat. Swagger won with his feet on  the ropes until Teddy Long came out and restarted the match. When Swagger got Santino into the ankle lock, Hornswoggle came in and bit him in the butt and Santino hit the Cobra for the win. That got a huge pop. Teddy, Hornswoggle and Santino danced and celebrated in the ring.

4. Alberto Del Rio defeated Mason Ryan in 45-50 seconds. Del Rio had control the whole match and got the Cross Arm Breaker for the win. Huge pop for this match.

5. CM Punk, Randy Orton, and Triple H defeated Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho in a six-man tag. Punk and Cody started. They went back and forth until Jericho was tagged in who quickly tagged Dolph Ziggler. The end came when Randy hit the RKO on Cody and Punk hit the GTS on Ziggler. Triple H capitalized on the GTS and went for the Pedigree until he stole Undertaker's taunt and hit the Tombstone Piledriver for the win.

Intermission

After intermission, Justin Roberts introduced Eve, who cut a promo asking for our forgiveness and asking us to let her prove herself. She said she wanted to right her wrongs. This drew a big "Hoeski" chant.

6. Beth Phoenix and Natalya defeated Kelly Kelly and Tamina. Tamina and Natalya started. These two had a good back and forth exchange. The finish came when Kelly ran the ropes and was tripped by Eve right into the Glam Slam. Good divas match.

7. Daniel Bryan defeated Mark Henry and Big Show in a Triple Threat to retain the World Hvt. Championship. This was a great match! There was a lot of stalling to begin outside of the ring. Henry was knocked outside the ring most of the time. The end came when Show chokeslammed Henry and Bryan took out Big Show's leg ,which was worked on most of the match, and pinned Henry.

8. John Cena defeated Kane in a Last Man Standing match. Kane dominated most of the match. Kane hit Cena with the ring bell, a chair, and a microphone. He even put him through a table. A cool spot was when Cena went flying head first into the steel steps. Cena gave Kane the Attitude Adjustment through a table for the win.

Cena called for a microphone. This drew a big "Rocky" chant. Cena told us he liked Rock's concert on Monday. He said he liked that Rock said "Cleveland Rocks." He said they have been here three times in the last three months and we rocked. He thanked us for coming and said he hoped to see us all at Wrestlemania 29 in New Jersey/New York.

Notes: For my first time, this was a hell of a show. It was full of surprises, which was really fun. I can't wait to go to another show!

Biggest Pops
1.John Cena/Triple H
2.Randy Orton
3.CM Punk, Zack Ryder and Big Show

Most Heat:
1. Vickie Guerrero
2. Jack Swagger
3. Eve
