3/18 WWE SuperShow in New York results: Triple H returns to the ring in a six-man match, John Cena vs. Kane in a Last Man Standing match, John Laurianitis and Teddy Long get involved in two title matches

WWE SuperShow live event
New York, N.Y. at Madison Square Garden
Report by Dot Net reader Sal Jenkins

First of all, I want to say that I forgot how fun house shows are. It's been
years since I've been to one, and I also notice how expensive they can get now that I took my two boys.

1. Zack Ryder defeated The Miz. Typical opening contest, good guy vs bad guy where we saw Ryder beat The Miz to give the fans a good start with positive energy.

2. Epico and Primo defeated R-Truth and Kofi Kingston to retain the WWE Tag Titles. Truth and Kofi won after the ref counted three, but he didn't notice Primo's foot on the bottom rope. Johnny Ace (Laurinaitis) came out to a massive heat wave from the fans. He ordered the match to restart. In the end, Epico and Primo won an entertaining match that showed how good of a wrestler Primo is.

3. Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger (w/Vickie Guerrero) to retain the United States Title. Jack Swagger held the title for a short time after he used the ropes to pin Santino. Johnny Ace came out to celebrate, but Teddy Long came out and ordered the match to restart. Hornswoggle got inside the ring and bit Swaggers ass,
giving Santino the opportunity to hit Swagger with The Cobra for the win.

4. Triple H, C.M. Punk and Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, and Chris Jericho in a six-man tag. All three babyfaces got awesome pops, and the opposite was true for the heels, of course. A good match that ended with Triple H hitting the Tombstone piledriver on Dolph for the win.

After intermission, Eve came out to a "Hoeski" chant. She apologized for her recent actions and said she'll make up for it.

5. Beth Phoenix and Natalya beat Kelly Kelly and Tamina. The finish came thanks to interference from Eve.

6. Alberto Del Rio beat Mason Ryan. Del Rio came out to a lot of respect from the Garden. It was a squash. Del Rio applied the armlock
in the second minute of the match.

7. Daniel Bryan beat Big Show and Mark Henry to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Henry spent most of the match outside the ring. In the end, Big Show chokeslammed Henry, which Bryan took advantage of by hitting Show in the knee and covering Henry for the win.

8. John Cena beat Kane in a Last Man Standing match. They used chairs, the bell, and the mic before Kane brought two tables into the mix. He threw Cena into a table that had been set up in the corner, but Cena made it up before the ten count. Cena drove Kane through a table
using the Attitude Adjustment to win the match. Afterward, Cena thanked the fans and told us that Wrestlemania 29 was coming to NYC.

A good show overall with a lot of "Cena sucks" chants.
