Dot Net Member Michael Gallacher attended the WWE Raw house show in London, England and sent along the following report.

I'd say building was maybe 90% full. I'm not good with these things.

1. Santino Marella defeated Drew McIntyre. England loves Santino for whatever reason, he always gets a big pop. Drew actually worked really hard here and made the most of what he had been given. Good for him. Santino won with the cobra.

2. Alex Riley and Primo defeated David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty. Meh match but Riley was mega fired up. Riley got the pin with the Edginator.

3. Mason Ryan defeated Curt Hawkins. Poor Hawkins, the guy can actually go but he's stuck with this crap. There was actually a "Let's go Mason" chant and I'm not even kidding. I swear in England you either get the internet fans or the people that think it's honest to god real. Ryan sucks and needs a more thorough drug test. Ryan won with what I am calling the master lock slam.

4. Dolph Ziggler defeated John Morrison. Match of the night as far as work rate is concerned. Ziggler cut one of his #HEEL promos before the match saying he was going to show everyone why he is the best and steals the show every night. Please WWE, give this guy more mic time he's just flat got it. Very excited to see where he goes in the future.

Awesome back and forth action and a convincing false finish. There was a funny point where Ziggler was going for the fameasser, and as Morrison was turning around, Ziggler did that bird pose type thing that Miz does when he's going for skull crushing finale. Ziggler won with a sweet looking super kick. Post-match, Ziggler went to hit Morrison with the belt. Morrison floored him and hit starship pain.

Dance contest was next. What is there to say, at least I got to see the Bella's shake their asses.

Intermission.

5. Beth Phoenix defeated Eve. Beth's been taking lessons from Punk. A lot of stalling and constant playing to the crowd. Match wasn't actually that bad. Beth won with the glam slam. Post-match, Beth started beating on Eve when Kelly Kelly came out to make the save. They can't just let a heel win and leave it be. At least Kelly didn't run the ropes.

6. Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder and John Cena defeated The Miz, R-Truth and Kevin Nash. Once the match was announced as a 6 man I was so happy because that meant that 1. I'd get to see Nash, 2. Punk was on last and 3. The night would not end with Cena's crappy music. Miz and Truth came out first rapping the "You suck" song. They cut a great promo and had the crowd in the palm of their hands. They did the "what" and "really" bits for ages then asked for silence while they did their catch phrases. They then introduced Nash as their partner which it seemed quite a lot of people were surprised by. Was really cool to hear the NWO music live again.

Ryder was out next and I would say he probably got a bigger face pop than Cena. As Ryder was posing on the ropes I was looking at Nash and Miz and then, on complete autopilot, I jumped up in the air and caught Ryder's T-shirt. I wasn't even looking at him and didn't see the shirt coming so I have no idea how I did it. What are the chances eh? Cena came out next to about 60-40 yays and boos. I lost my voice booing the shit out of him. Cool early part of the match where Miz tagged in Nash so Ryder tagged in Cena, was a cool visual. Kofi did the majority of the selling with the hot tag obviously going to Cena. Nash took a pretty big bump off of a Cena shoulder tackle which surprised me. Cena pinned Miz with the AA.

7. CM Punk defeated Alberto del Rio by DQ. Ricardo came out first to cheers and introduced Del Rio. ADR was wearing a shirt I haven't seen before. Punk was out next to easily the biggest pop of the night. A lot of stalling to begin with. ADR made Ricardo reintroduce him but Punk kept chasing him and doing bull horn gestures. ARD jumping out the ring, ran around it and took breaks on the outside; eventually trying to leave through the crowd for the first 10 minutes of the match. ADR wore his shirt for this part of match for some reason.

Once they got started it was the same match you seen between these guys on Raw. Punk picked up ADR for the GTS when Ricardo interfered causing the DQ. Ziggler, Otunga, McGillicutty and possibly someone else ran out to beat on Punk. Cena, Ryder, Kofi and Eve made the save.

Shore's Slant: Eve????

They all surrounded Ziggler, but then stopped. Punk said it was Ziggler's birthday and the short version is that he said he gets to pick who he takes a finisher from. Punk was saying how they all have a thing that they do, (woo woo woo, boom boom boom, go to sleep), they stopped and wondered aloud what Eve does. I was wondering that myself. They decided she does the booty popping thing which lead to Cena, Punk, Kofi and Ryder doing the booty pop. My eyes still burn. Anyway Ziggler picked Eve but Cena hit him with the AA. Then the rest followed suit, ending with Eve doing a moonsault. Cena got the crowd to do an Eve chant…my god.

Punk slapped hands with fans at ringside for a while after everyone left. I killed myself jumping over this guy and my finger managed to touch Punks finger, close enough. Does that sound creepy?

Shore's Slant: Yes, yes it is.

Punk got back in the ring for a victory lap and then spotted a girl with a "marry me Punk" sign. He started doing a little dance and slowly taking down his tights. This was my 5th WWE show and my favorite one, and I know my girlfriend Steph thinks the same. The effort was there from a lot of the wrestlers and the card changing from what is has been was great, (really didn't want Cena ending this thing). Also getting to touch Punk and catching Ryder's shirt was awesome and will never happen again.
