WWE Smackdown live event
Halifax, N.S.
Report By Dot Net reader Judasbeej

This was my first live event since Evolution (Batista and Randy Orton) tagged against La Resistance. I think was the main event. A lot has changed in wrestling since my first show where it was Undertaker and Yokozuna as the main event.

1. Daniel Bryan over Broudus Clay. Bryan won with a drop kick from the top rope. Thought they were getting behind these guys. Good pop for Bryan.

2. Jinder Mahal and Great Khali over The Usos. Jinder did his full nelson slam for the win. Funny opening with people booing Jinder when he raised his arms and cheering Khali when he raised his. I was impressed by Jinder and can see him being a major title holder someday.

3. A.J. over Natalya. A.J. won with a roll up counter off the sharpshooter. A lot of love for Natalya. There was a funny part where she went up on the top rope before the match started, showing A.J. that she had the fans backing her when A.J. tried Natalya attacked her from behind.

4. Ezekiel Jackson over Heath Slater. Ahmed Johnson, I mean Ezekiel won with the torture rack. Boring match. They need to repackage Slater badly.

5. Sheamus over Wade Barrett in a Canadian street fight. Sheamus won with a Brogue Kick. They should have just had regular match because all that was used was a chair and a kendo stick, and there was not much brawling outside the ring. That said, it was a great match. The crowd popped huge for Sheamus. Wade came out and said he was Europe's number one bare-knuckle fighter said he could beat GSP, take Gretzky out of retirement and beat him, and that fake concussion having Sidney Crosby. Funny. Sheamus came out talking about a pig farmer from Ireland or something, and killing the meanest pig he had or something like that.

Dance off. Same stuff different night kid wins. A large ghetto chick got booed though which was really funny. Hosted by Aksana

6. Sin Cara over Tyson Kidd. Hunico worked the match as Sin Car and won with the high angle senton bomb. Big pop for Kidd. I was talking to him on twitter about how much love he was going to get and I think he was surprised. Post attack from Sin Cara, as usual. Great match, no botched spots.

7. Ted DiBiase over Cody Rhodes by DQ for the Intercontinental Title. Cody used the mask on Ted for the DQ. Really good match from both of them. A lot of "Cody sucks" chants. I can see these two both in main events in the near future. DiBiase retaliated after the match and took Cody down. He held the title up over the fallen Cody. Title change in the future? Oh, and Rhodes cut a promo how we were ugly. Same stuff different city, bags on head, etc.

8. Randy Orton over Mark Henry and Christian in a Triple Threat match for the World Hvt. Championship. Great match. I was disappointed in Henry after what I've seen from him on TV. Orton got the biggest pop of the night. I'm just bored of seeing him be in John Cena mode. There was a funny part where Christian took the belt and started to walk out with it in the middle of that match. Randy brought him back pretty quickly. Christian did a promo on how great it was to be in Halifax. He swerved by saying that winning the title it in a great Canadian city would be nice, but he guesses he'll just do it in Halifax anyway.

Notes: Good show. Overall, worth the money. I hope the Raw crew comes this way soon. A lot of love for the Canadian wrestlers. They could have crapped in our cereals and we would have cheered.

Biggest pops
1. Randy Orton by far.
2. Sheamus
3. Daniel Bryan

Biggest heat.
1. Cody Rhodes
2. Wade Barrett
3. Jinder Mahal
