Here is the recap of the WWE Live Event in Pittsburgh, PA tonight:
 
1. Kofi Kingston won a 12 man battle royal to earn a shot at Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Title. Kofi Kingston won by eliminating Jack Swagger.
 
2. Mason Ryan defeated Chavo Guerrero. Mason was billed as a Pittsburgh native.
 
3. Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly defeated Layla and Naomi in a Santa's Little Helpers Diva Tag Team Match. Beth Phoenix finished Layla. Kelly Kelly appeared to injure her knee, and Layla and Naomi took advantage of an injured Kelly Kelly afterward. Hornswoggle appeared from under the ring and came to the aid of Kelly Kelly.
 
4. Big Show and Rey Mysterio defeated Alberto Del Rio and Cody Rhodes. Before the bout began, Del Rio took a fan's sign that read, "Rey Mysterio rocks, Alberto Del Rio sucks." He tore up the sign and threw it at the crowd.

Big Show retaliated by referring to Del Rio and Rhodes as "butt buddies." After an even match up, Del Rio and Rhodes found themselves in an unfortunate situation as Big Show double chokeslammed the both of them. Show hoisted Mysterio on his shoulders and flew down onto Del Rio and Rhodes for the pin.
 
5. Drew McIntyre defeated Trent Barreta. In what I like to call a "filler match" (a pointless match between two random superstars with no existing feud used to waste time and usually ends within 5 minutes), McIntyre defeated Barretta via Future Shock.
 
6. Chris Masters defeated Jack Swagger via roll up pin.
 
7. Dolph Zigler defeated Kofi Kingston to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Without Vickie at ringside to distract the opponent, this was a very evenly and exciting match between these two superstars. With practically the whole support of the arena cheering for Kofi, he attempted to hit Trouble in Paradise but missed the mark. Zigler caught Kofi in a Zig Zag for the pinfall victory.
 
8. Edge defeated Kane in a steel cage match for the World Heavyweight Championship. The cage wasn't utilized much during the match until after Edge speared Kane which gave him time to escape the cage by climbing over the top. After the match was over, Kane stole the title belt from Edge and threw it back into the ring. The event ended with Edge delivering another spear and regaining possession of his title.
