WWE Raw live event
Trenton, N.J.
Report by Dot Net reader Nick Aiello (thanks also to Agahzi for sending the results).

1. Air Boom defeated The Miz and R-Truth to retain the WWE Tag Titles. Bourne pinned Truth to end a great tag opener. Air Bourne looks amazing in person.

2. Showtime Percy Watson defeated Primo. Watson won with a flapjack. Boring. Nobody cared. Jack Swagger beat down Watson and cut a promo regarding himself, Alex Riley, and New Jersey.

3. Alex Riley pinned Jack Swagger after a roll up. Riley countered from the ankle lock into the roll up. There was also a good near fall after an impaler DDT. Sloppy at times. Riley needs a new finisher.

4. Mason Ryan pinned Zack Ryder. Ryan won with a Rock Bottom side slam. Basically, a squash. Ryder was not as over as I expected. Quick, and the crowd was surprised to see Ryan. I think everyone kinda forgot about him until now.

5 Alberto Del Rio pinned CM Punk to retain WWE championship. Del Rio knocked CM Punk off the top rope and pinned him. "I'm not too sure if I still have testicles" - CM Punk. An okay match with lots of stalling. There was a funny moment when Del Rio was stalling in crowd. He grabbed and held up a "I hate Punk" sign and then held up the kid who made it and was holding the sign (who was a John Cena fan). Del Rio wrestled in t-shirt. Weird.

Intermission

6. Kelly Kelly defeated Beth Phoenix. Kelly won via roll up. A typical Divas match.

There was a dance contest. A little kid won. Big f---ing surprise.

7. Dolph Ziggler beat John Morrison to retain the U.S. Championship. Dolph used the Zig Zag after a Starship Pain counter. Good match. Ziggler cut a really good promo before the match. Dolph appeared to hit a super kick on Morrison at one point. Morrison botched a flip bottom and landed right on top of Ziggler.

8. John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio by DQ in a WWE Championship match. Ricardo Rodriguez hit Cena with a chair for the DQ. CM Punk made the save after what was a good match. Ricardo was banned from ringside early. Apparently, Trenton has a lot of kids... Del Rio has a lot of variety in his move set, which makes Cena look like he has even less. There was a funny moment when Del Rio stole a Cena foam finger from a fan and threw it on a downed John Cena (what a waste of 10 bucks...). Cena wore the foam finder during the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. The kids got mad at the finish, but popped huge after the AA/GTS combo.

Biggest Pops:
John Cena
CM Punk
Air Boom (Kofi a little more than Bourne during the match)

Most Heat
The Miz
R-Truth
Del Rio
Honorable Mention: Jack Swagger

Overall thoughts: This was the first non TV/PPV event I've gone to. While I enjoyed it, it just seems too predictable during title matches. But overall a good show, not the best I've seen but it was better than the time I paid to see Raw and all that volcanic ash stranded the superstars overseas. Also, hearing Ricardo Rodriguez twice was awesome. And it's good to see Del Rio back.
