9/22 WWE in Hidalgo results: Rey Mysterio announces his return date, Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Big Show, Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz for the U.S. Championship

1. Tons of Funk defeated Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal.

2. Bo Dallas defeated Antonio Cesaro to retain the NXT Title. Cesaro drew a lot of heat but drew some applause with a lengthy giant swing. Dallas drew absolutely no reaction until Cesaro insulted the crowd.

3. Brie Bella defeated Alicia Fox.

4. Justin Gabriel defeated Fandango. Gabriel used a crazy springboard shooting star press for the win! Easily the finisher of the night.

Rey Mysterio appeared and and announced that he will return October 16 (WWE kicks off a tour of Mexico with a show in Queretaro)!! Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns interrupted Mysterio and as they were about to attack him when Big Show came out. It was announced that Show would face Reigns and Rollins in handicap match.

5. Big Show defeated Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Show won with a choke slam to Rollins.

6. R-Truth and Great Khali defeated Hunico and Camacho. Hunico had some good spots during the match.

7. Dean Ambrose defeated The Miz to retain the U.S. Championship. Ambrose won with a roll up while grabbing the tights. Miz played up his injuries from Raw.

8. Daniel Bryan defeated Randy Orton in hardcore match. Orton got powerbombed through a table. Both superstars got huge reactions.
