The Bank of Kentucky Center looks great - the 100 level is not very high at all so you will get decent views from accessible seating (that is where I had to sit). However it was not very full. I would estimate only a couple thousand people.

I do have a single gripe about the arena before I go into the matches. I paid $10.50 for a pretzel with cheese along with a souvenir cup of Mountain Dew...you would not believe how small the cup of cheese that came with the pretzel was. The damn cup was only the diameter of a quarter if that. If I'm getting a pretzel with cheese for $4.50, damn it, there better be more cheese than was in that cup! I expect to pay $6.00 for a souvenir cup, so no big deal on that.

I did hear a small "Whoo" chant before the show began, but it didn't catch on.

1. Chris Masters defeated Jack Swagger. There was serious heat against Swagger. Masters won via the Masterlock.

2. Percy Watson beat Zack Ryder. Ryder was not too over, from where I was sitting. Maybe the acoustics were deceiving me, but I didn't hear many cheers for him. Watson won via DDT and was somewhat over with fans. Watson was attacked by R-Truth post match who cut a promo on the Highland Heights crowd. Many "What?" chants for this.

3. R-Truth beat Primo. The led to a match between these two. There was a loud Cena chant post match.

Alberto Del Rio came out next and cut his normal promo about being the next WWE Champion.

4. Alberto Del Rio beat Evan Bourne. Del Rio won via cross arm breaker. Bourne got some standard hope spots but didn't get to hit Air Bourne. Good match.

5. Big Show beat Mason Ryan via the KO punch. Before the match, CM Punk took the mic and said he wasn't going to wrestle tonight because he was allergic to the Kentucky fans. Funny. He played that up all match long, too.

6. Brie Bella (w/Nikki Bella) beat Eve to retain the Divas Championship. Brie retained via facebuster. Nobody really cared. I was hoping Kharma would show up to destroy the Bellas. Damn. Twin Magic apparently reared it's ugly head - Nikki and Brie switched about three minutes into the match, so Nikki completed the matchup.

7. Kofi Kingston beat Dolph Ziggler to retain the U.S. Title. Great match with a few believable nearfalls. These two guys can work and I would actually like to see this at Over the Limit. Kofi won with Trouble in Paradise.

John Cena took on Miz for the main event WWE Championship match, after Miz cut a promo. Half of it, I didn't hear... That's how crazy his heat was, it beat Swagger's. C.M. Punk was advertised, but after his promo earlier, he did not wrestle.

8. John Cena beat The Miz to retain the WWE Championship. This match was back and forth. Miz tried to leave with the belt, but Cena chased him down and threw him back in the ring. Late in the match, Miz exposed the top turnbuckle in the corner closest to me. Cena twice blocked attempts to whip him into that. A ref bump led to Miz trying to use the title, but Cena kicked out. After that, it was academic. AA. Splat. Win for Cena. And if that was supposed to sell me on the "I Quit" match at Over the Limit... It failed. Badly.

That was it. I didn't hear a future date announced, but I'm sure they will be back to Cincinnati late this year or early next.

Biggest Pop:

1) Cena (not even close)
2) Big Show
3) Kofi during the US Title bout

Most Heat:

1) Miz both before and during the WWE Championship match (not even close)
2) Swagger
3) R-Truth
